Sound Colors are when you associate a tone with a color, Light is just a really fast wave and all waves have a frequency so we will build our theory on that.. We found a utility called 'Spectra' that shows a colors wavelength and frequency and we built a Thz - Hz converter to show lower octaves of a colors frequency, The frequencies are in terahertz which have to be chopped down in octaves ( freq/2 ) about 30 times...

The ss* and sf* refer to microtones - Microtones are easiest found on fretless instruments such as the violin or by using a slide, When you bend a note then you are passing through the microtones. On the guitar you can slightly bend a note up to find the microtones, Try to find the microtone between the 6th and 7th fret of the smallest string by slightly bending the note at the 6th fret (use the smallest string)...
If anything music is brown in theory (or the color you get when you mix all the colors together). Background noise is most likely white when its quiet, A combination of different sounds such as in a city are probably a darker sound. One thing that can be nailed down is emotion, Take a slow dark and sad song and speed it up a bit and then suddenly its bright and funny. The mood or feeling of a song most likely is not tied to the frequency of the tones but more likely tied to the tempo and tonic structure as a whole...
