Power Chord Shapes

The power chord shape is used one the major and minor positions, The diminished position (VII.) is the only chord that cannot be 'powered'. When you compare a major chord with a minor chord then you will find that the 1st and 5th are the same, Each of the shapes (except the VII.) can be played on the I. - II. - III. - IV. - V. and VI. positions of a key. The I. ----- VI. means all of them except the VII.
