Well the CAGED works for the minor chords as well - We will show you the "A Minor Chord", this happens to be closely related to the C Major chord we used in the first lesson on CAGED. If you change the G's that are in the "C Major Chord" to A's - you will then have an "A Minor Chord".
Oddly enough, ANY Key with a "C Major Chord" will also contain an "A Minor Chord" - Below, the G minor and C minor shown are not used very often. The A D and E minor chord shapes that we show are very common in most music.

- Printable Version - All five "A Minors" as shown above, next to each other.
The "G Minor Shape" and "C Minor Shape" may be pretty hard to play - If these were moved down to make the chords "G Minor" and "C Minor", they would be easier to play.
Something to do - Print out the "Key of C" worksheet off of the main lessons page and fill in the all of the (B's - D's - F's - This is a "B Diminished chord") - You should see that many of the chord shapes are about the same.
