Changing Keys - Left Handed

   Changing keys means you start off playing one key and then change to another, The most common key change is a '4th' down (fourths) or a '5th' up (fifths). Lets observe what happens when you change from the Key of C to the Key of G, Then entire pattern as a whole is shifted up seven frets when you move the 'F' tone up one fret...

This shows the Key of C and when you drag the 'F' up one fret then it changes to the Key of G...

The 'F' does not change into an 'F#' on our diagram...

   If you look at the pattern of the 0-3 frets in the Key of C and compare them to the 7-10 frets in the Key of G then you will see that they are the same, This should show you the importance of both learning the pattern of the Key of C as a whole and also knowing the notes on the first couple strings...
