Gw Worksheets Help

Our worksheets are growing in complexity so this is the help page which shows the features and purposes of all of the worksheets, The only thing better than the worksheets are the explanations on using them: These are the help pages for our 'flash diagrams', Read them!...

Worksheet - Tonemap - Duplicates - Octaves - Chords Database - CAGED - Learning the Notes - Learning the Scales - Tonesheet

  1. Status Box - When you mouseover a note then you will see the note name in the status box, it will also show the chord name when you have selected a key.
  2. Circle Fader - The circles that represent a note can be faded out.

  3. Note Fader - When ever you select a note on the diagram or a chord is showing, those can be faded out (you may not want to do that) and the 'Reset' button will clear any notes that you have selected or the chords shown
  4. Flats and Sharps - The tone names themselves can be faded out and you can switch the tone names from # to b or from b to # - Sharps or Flats are automatically chosen when you select a key (fading these out is good when you just want to see the shapes of the chord

  5. Key Selector - Here is where you select which key you want to study, the reset button to the left will reset the diagram to show all the tones on the diagram...

  6. Print Button - (not shown) Mouse over the print button and you see what your printout will look like, the fader and reset buttons will be hidden during printing and the printouts are of high quality.

Our newest series Worksheet 7.2 do not show chords or the pentatonic scales and they are available in alternate tunings. On the surface the 'worksheet' looks like a simple diagram but if you read the how to's then you see that they are much more, Our favorite is the 'chords' link that displays 600 pages of chords from all 12 keys that cycles through all five positions of each chord...
