The Harmonic Minor theory shown below is our own theory that we created in September of 2006, You can click on the "A minor" scale which is really the Key of C and you can then click on the "A harmonic minor" scale, This starts with the Key of C which is also known as the "C Major Scale" (1 2 3 4 5 6 7) and changes into what we call the "C augmented scale" (1 2 3 4 5# 6 7)...
To get to the "A harmonic minor" scale you would need to start with the Key of A and then flatten(b) the three(3) and six(6) of that key, With our theory you start with the 'minor scale' and then sharpen(#) the five(5) of 'its' relative major scale...
