Our direct approach to learning scales and chords shows the problems with suspended chords, Mostly they resolve to modified power chords. This is our own chord chart which simplifies the view of complex chords that you will find online and in books, What we've done is extended the power chord theory of stripping the 3rd for all of the chords. You may at time find Inverted chords that use a forward slash (/), Those pertain only to the order of tones...

"Powered Extensions" are a label that we have determined to be the simplest, you probably will not find any reference to them other than on our site. A good naming system would be to use the full sus name which would be like "C minor suspended 9th", This would mean 'Take a C minor 9th and remove the third', The '2' is the same as the '9' so the name of the chord would really be 'C minor suspended 2nd'...
