The Chords Database is primarily for use with flash interfaces that we are working on and is currently free to search from, Here are some helpful tips to get the chords showing that you want to print (this database only shows the first position chord).

Wildcards

You can use % as a wildcard in the search box to find chords that contain certain tones, Examples would be:

%C E G - this will find all chords that contain a C E and G
%C G - this will find all chords that contain C and G
C Major% - this will find all chords that are based on C Major
%7th - will find all chords that are 7th'd including Major minor and dimished chords
%Major 7th - this will find all chords that are Major ths

Common Problems

Sometimes you won't get the results you wanted and here are some reasons:

%A C E% - this will find all chords that contain an A C and both E and Eb
A C E[space] - If there is a space at the end then you will get zero results
Key of F# - even though this is the same as Gb you will get zero results
Key of C minor - the minor scales are modes! Use the 'Actual Key'
